Re-introducing Mantra: Modern, Casual & Indian

I want to thank all our guests for being part of Mantra’s exquisite dining experience for the last five years. On our fifth anniversary, I am very happy to introduce the new Mantra that is modern, casual and yet Indian at its heart. Our new menu is healthy, fresh and shareable. We are offering a broad selection of small plates and entrées and cocktails in two sizes – individual and shareable. I hope you will enjoy the new shareable Mantra.

Ashwani Dhawan, a creative high tech entrepreneur working with multiple modern day chefs has created a unique “Mantra Experience”. Mantra Experience is based a trio of unique pairing experiments:

•Pairing the California freshness with the  bold but not overpowering flavors and spices of India

•Merging this great food with great wines from around the world

•Combining bright Indian colors and contemporary art into the classic ambiance of Palo Alto’s old Bijou theater
And finally delivering the trio of these pairings with warm unstuffy service to achieve the ultimate “Mantra Dining Experience.”

Ashwani Dhawan: A highly creative and seasoned entrepreneur who always had a deep hidden passion for great food and a flair for designing and building elegant and unique dining places. Ashwani has fulfilled his dream by creating the unique Mantra experience by combining the elements of California freshness, the vibrant colors and aromas of East India and art elements from some of the contemporary masters of India. Technology continues to remain as his second passion where he has spent last 20+ years of his adult life, building and running many different technologies, products and organizations for various Silicon Valley startups, consulting companies and large leading technology providers like IBM and GE.
